01 · Name it clearly

Compatibility guidance, not a collaboration.

Public titles should use 'Independent IKEA planning guide by ZX Constructions' or 'Planning a room for selected IKEA products'. Avoid 'ZX × IKEA', joint logos, co-branded graphics or language that implies an official installation or warranty relationship.

02 · Kitchen

Coordinate the room before ordering modules.

Use IKEA's current planner or planning service for the selected product system and product list. ZX can coordinate measured room information, wall and floor preparation, services, appliance interfaces, extraction, waterproofing and other construction work only when those items are in ZX's written scope.

IKEA India states that kitchen planning and installation services have their own process, quotation and pre-installation requirements. Confirm the current supplier and installer scope before allocating civil work.

03 · Wardrobes and storage

Design from the inventory and exact frame.

Use the current PAX, BESTÅ or other official planner where relevant. Measure maximum clear width, height and depth, skirting, sockets, switches, doors, curtains and floor level. Confirm anchoring, wall construction, ventilation, lighting and assembly clearance from the selected product instructions.

04 · Bathrooms

Keep product planning behind water and safety checks.

Coordinate product dimensions with waterproofing, falls, drains, ventilation, safe electrical zones, wall fixing capacity and maintenance access. The official bathroom planner helps configure furniture; it does not replace project-specific wet-area design or building-services responsibility.

05 · Record

Keep three responsibility columns.

For every item, state whether IKEA, ZX or the homeowner's separate supplier designs, measures, supplies, delivers, installs, connects, tests, warrants and rectifies it. Attach final plans, product lists, room-condition approval and warranties to the handover record.
